Chief Operating Officer

As the Chief Operating Officer of equivant Corrections, Greg is responsible for overseeing sales and operations for this business vertical. A corrections practitioner for more than two decades, Greg brings his professional experience to his role while serving his staff and clients every day.

 

Team Lead – Business Development

As Team Lead, Javier continues to help correctional facilities across the country by introducing agencies to classification and custody management solutions. After a facility has partnered with equivant Corrections, Javier continues the relationship by ensuring ongoing customer success.

 

Product Implementation Specialist

As a Product Implementation Specialist for equivant Corrections, Joe ensures that the software is implemented and integrated correctly for all equivant Corrections clients. He manages all contracted work with local jails from the time they became an equivant Corrections customer – all the way until the software is fully integrated and in use within their system.

Joli serves as a Product Implementation Specialist at equivant Corrections. In her role, Joli is responsible for the beginning to end implementation of all software and works hand in hand with customers to manage relationships, expectations, and integration timelines.

Greg Eash

Chief Operating Officer

Greg Eash Chief Operating Officer equivant As the Chief Operating Officer of equivant Corrections, Greg is responsible for overseeing sales and operations for this business vertical. A corrections practitioner for more than two decades, Greg brings his professional experience to his role while serving his staff and clients every day.

Born and raised in a small northern Indiana town, Greg was hired by the local police department right after graduating college. He spent a year as a patrolman before deciding to move to eastern Pennsylvania to live near his wife’s family. A few years later, Greg ended up back in his hometown and was hired by a neighboring sheriff’s department to work in the local jail. Greg worked his way through the ranks and eventually spent some time as a Warden, but most of his time with the agency was dedicated and focused on inmate classification and discipline. During his career, he was honored to attain the American Jail Association Certified Jail Manager award and maintained that for many years until his retirement from the department. He was also able to become a Certified Corrections Supervisor awarded through the American Correctional Association.

Greg and his wife have been married for 20 years and have three children. Greg also has a daughter from a previous marriage who gave him his first granddaughter. In his free time, if there is such a thing with kids involved in school and travel sports, Greg enjoys coaching baseball and watching hockey.

Javier Tuñón

Team Lead - Business Development

A native of Panama, Javier grew up on the banks of the Panama Canal. His father, a retired detective from the Panama Canal Zone Police Department, instilled in him a strong sense of public service.

 
In 1992, Javier moved to the United States to pursue a degree in Computer Information Systems at Georgia Southwestern State University. After graduating, he settled in Atlanta, where he currently resides with his wife, Kristy, and their Labrador Retriever, Blooper.
 
A passionate sports enthusiast and world traveler, Javier is also an avid deer hunter. Following an eight-year hiatus, he is excited to return to the field of public safety and work with the equivant Corrections’ team.

Joe Robbins

Product Implementation Specialist

Joe Robbins Implementation Specialist Corrections

As a Product Implementation Specialist for equivant Corrections, Joe ensures that the software is implemented and integrated correctly for all equivant Corrections clients. He manages all contracted work with local jails from the time they became an equivant Corrections customer – all the way until the software is fully integrated and in use within their system. From coordinating all the technical aspects and working with the client agency to maximize the effectiveness of their new tool to training staff and interfacing with other vendors, Joe handles all things related to implementation for customers. .

Interestingly enough, Joe was introduced to the criminal justice system through the radio business where he served as a “DJ” in a large Tulsa, OK station and then a news junkie for a local radio station in Arkansas. During that time, Joe built relationships with members of a local sheriff’s department where he accepted a position as a Corrections Officer. Nearly thirty years later, Joe retired as a practitioner and began his next career with Northpointe, now equivant Corrections. Joe loves the significant growth equivant Corrections has seen over the past few years, and enjoys working side by side with his peers to catapult the corrections profession forward.

He and his wife of 27 years have six children, all of whom are adopted – five boys and one girl. When he isnt working, he enjoys spending time with his family.

Joli Shumpert

Product Implementation Specialist

Joli Shumpert Product Implementation Specialist Corrections

Joli serves as a Product Implementation Specialist at equivant Corrections. In her role, Joli is responsible for the beginning to end implementation of all software and works hand in hand with customers to manage relationships, expectations, and integration timelines.

Joli began her career in law enforcement as a detention officer in 1996 with the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County, South Carolina. It was here that she earned multiple certifications such as a Certified Jail Manager and Certified Corrections Manager and where she served 4 years on the Board of Directors for the American Jail Association. Joli also became a DOJ dually certified PREA Auditor, as well as an Auditor for the American Correctional Association. She retired from the facility as Accreditation Manager in 2021 after serving 25 years.

Joli exited retirement after only six months and returned to the field to manage a 1,066-bed adult facility in Augusta, GA as Assistant Chief Jailer overseeing administration, ACA and NCCHC standards compliance, and contracts management.

In her current role, she uses her nearly thirty years of experience in law enforcement facility administration with a focus on policies and procedures development; detention standards including the Prison Rape Elimination Act; and criminal justice risk and liability management issues. Joli enjoys identifying opportunities for synergy, improvement, and the simplification of existing processes to ensure quality.

Joli is married with three children and spends most of her free time with her dog, Nyles, and exploring her city of Charleston, SC.

Priscilla Torres

Product Implementation Specialist

Priscilla Torres Priscilla serves as a Product Implementation Specialist at equivant Corrections. In her role, she is responsible for the beginning to end implementation of all software and works hand in hand with customers to manage integrations and timelines.

Priscilla has worked as a Youth Program Officer, a Family Intervention Specialist, a Re-entry Specialist, and a Parole Officer before landing at the Bernalillo Metropolitan Detention Center where she served as Classification Manager. She brings this experience to help equivant Corrections customers every day.
